Our PURPOSE

The WBDT exists to promote the independence of the brewer, distributor, and retailer tiers of the Texas system, preserving competition, access to market and more choices for Texas consumers.

The WBDT is ensuring Texas’ economy thrives, monopolies are prevented, and consumers enjoy access to the largest brand variety possible. Maintaining the independence of each stakeholder is critical to the continued success of the current system which fosters a competitive marketplace and facilitates the safe and responsible sale of beer in Texas.

Our PASSION

Texas distributors have always had a passionate sense of community involvement and an interest in promoting responsibility.

Community leadership can be seen both on the local and state-wide level, ranging from city improvement projects to establishing one of the state’s first anti-litter programs.
